rs_history

History

A RailHistory file (*.rmh) contains several measurements of one or more Railmonitor-Sessions (*.rml) to overlay it while aligned to a single reference. The files are recommended to visualize the wearout over time on a specific point.

Create a new History

  • Initialize a new History file on tab 'History' with 'New'
  • Add the desired measurements with 'Add After'
  • to add a block: press 'select' on the tab 'Session', hold the 'ctrl' key and press the left mouse button. Then drag over the measurements to complete a selection. Press button 'Add to History'
  • Check the actual composition with 'List'
  • Delete: select an entry on the list and press the 'Delete' button
  • At the end, press'Generate'

Add to an existing History

  • While a rml-file is shown, select 'Load' on tab 'History' and select the rmh-file to append
  • Add the desired measurements with 'Add After'
  • to add a block: press 'select' on the tab 'Session', hold the 'ctrl' key and press the left mouse button. Then drag over the measurements to complete a selection. Press button 'Add to History'
  • Check the actual composition with 'List'
  • Delete: select an entry on the list and press the 'Delete' button
  • At the end, press'Generate' to build a new rmh-file

Usage

  • while type and reference are for all measurements, the alignment can be individually choosen, even manuall
