Firmware Update

Please do a backup before updating the Railmonitor ( Backup )
Updates until Version 3.86 will only be done at Schmid Elektronik in house.

There are three solutions to update the Railmonitor firmware:

  1. Update with Bootloader (Flash App)
  2. Standard Update
  3. Menu Update

The firmware file for the Railmonitor has the ending *.MDR.
There are also files with extension *.FDR and *.SDR: use them only when in contact with Schmid Elektronik.
To prevent mistakes, copy only the necessary firmware file to the card (and no others).

If the firmware update was interrupted use the first solution to update the firmware.
